Claire preparing wool to spin.

Thursday saw the return to normal schedule for the Surrey & Hampshire Hackspace with lots going on as usual…

Claire was busily preparing some wool to spin (from a Merino/Shetland crossbred sheep called Lotty).

Meanwhile Alan was trying to calibrate a temperature sensor with just the aid of a number of other temperature sensors and a kettle of boiling water. (As it turns out this gets rather more difficult if the different sensors don’t agree with each other and the one you’re trying to calibrate is sensitive to moisture.)

Robin was busy printing out parts of a heart shaped gear system, Paul was getting to grips with his Shrimp based Cylon circuit, and I was experimenting with OpenFrameworks.
